Time is of the essence.  The Downtown Club will gladly take your lunch order by phone and have it ready when you and your guests arrive.  Simply call the Club at 717.815.2112 between 11:30a.m. and 2p.m. to place your lunch orders. Menus can be faxed to your office.  The Club also offers gourmet meals to go. 

Your dues in the Downtown Club of York provide our serving staff with generous compensation.  Tipping is neither necessary nor expected in the Commonwealth Room.

Guests of the hotel receive valet parking in the hotel garage at no fee.  Please make sure the hostess validates your parking receipt when you dine with us at the Club.

Privacy.  Be certain that your meetings will remain confidential with the adequately spaced tables in the Commonwealth Room at lunchtime.

Networking.  As a member of the Downtown Club of York, you will be in contact with the area’s most prominent business and community leaders.

No lunch plans?  The Community Table offers conversation and companionship over lunch so you don’t have to eat alone.

Health. The fitness center is available to all members of the Downtown Club of York at no additional charge.  The facility is located on the fourth floor of the Yorktowne Hotel and boasts an excellent view of downtown.  Please call 717.815.2134 or 717.318.0391 for the access code.

Entertaining.  Please contact the Club manager to accommodate luncheon meetings of up to 20 people.

Who says there is no such thing as a free lunch? Enjoy a free lunch on your birthday.  Also, sponsor new members and receive complimentary lunches when they join.  Alcohol is not included.

Events.  The Club hosts annual parties that you and your spouse can enjoy at no additional cost.  Club dinners offer an excellent way to relax and socialize after hours.

Club members and their spouses have the privilege of direct billing for dining and hotel services, summarized monthly in the member’s Downtown Club of York bill.

Anniversaries.  Celebrate your wedding anniversary with a complimentary dessert.
